Responsibilities:
5. Perform tool installation tasks (mechanical assembly, electrical connections, robot calibrations) independently, from intial setup to final testing, with troubleshooting and problem solving of any possible issues.
6. Follows all procedures rigidly and ensures correct SOPs and schematics are available prior to performing installations.
7. Ensure systems are installed as per procedures satisfactorily through testing of equipment with assistance from senior engineers, existing documentation and diagnostic techniques.
8. Responds to fab issues by communicating with other engineers and participating in escalation conference calls.
9. Participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce installation cycle time and costs.
10. Provide accurate reporting of status, hours worked and non-conformances.
11. Adhere to the safety and security policy and quality standards of the client and its customers.
Requirements:
12. Technician, Bachelor’s, or Master’ degree in mechanical assembly, equipment installation, maintenance, mechatronics, electronics, electrical, mechanical, or similar technical background.
13. Some experience or knowledge with CVD/CMP/EPI tools would be an advantage but not required.
14. Troubleshooting skills to solve mechanical and electrical problems during system installation.
15. Ability to communicate efficiently through daily pass-downs and equipment status reports.
16. Project management skills to control installation project within budget, timeline and installation quality requirements.
17. Ability to work autonomously.
18. Confident in English to work with colleagues and experts from all over the world and to read plant documentations and schematics. Company language is English.
19. Good Knowledge of the MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
20. The position requires extensive travelling throughout Europe, up to 90%.

Interview Process:
· Interviews held via Microsoft Teams, usually during evening hours as our clients hiring team for this position are based in their USA office.
· 2nd Round interview is face to face and will include a practical mechanical and electrical hands on assessment & competency based questions

28. **REQUIRED** Have you got accommodation close to Kildare in Ireland for the periods of which you will be working at our clients Irish customer base? (When travelling abroad you will require a base in Ireland which you will have regular access to and may need to maintain and will not be covered under the remuneration package on offer)
29. **REQUIRED** Have you the ability to travel for 90% of the time to customer sites across the European region – France, Italy, Germany, and Ireland and on occasion, further afield? (Travel to Asia or USA required for training purposes, up to 12 weeks)
