Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager - Retail to join our Sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Exceed agreed territory sales budget and achieve margin targets for the Retail business.
* Develop the territory by managing a prospect list to secure new retail customers aligned with the current commercial plan.
* Maintain all accounts within Musgrave's credit terms.
* Manage Territory Management costs within allocated budgets through efficient time management and effective call patterns.
* Promote excellent customer service through friendly, accurate field communication and good administration practices.
* Complete all administrative tasks, including journey plans, sales reports, record cards, and gains and losses report.
* Manage customer margin targets in line with overall territory targets.
* Participate in Sales Blitz activities as required to support the company's overall sales drive.
Minimum Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in proactive field sales and achieving targets in a Retail environment.
* Demonstrated ability to build a strong track record in sales and/or securing new business.
* Excellent interpersonal skills at face-to-face level.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
* Proficiency in MS Office.
* Fully clean driving license.
* Strong knowledge of the independent grocery retail sector in Ireland.
