**Job Title:** Assistant Area Manager
The Assistant Area Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the planning, development, and delivery of person-centred rehabilitative and vocational training programmes in Co. Kerry. This includes overseeing in-centre programmes, workplace training with local businesses, and blended learning initiatives.

**Key Qualifications:*- Relevant qualification in Business, Administration, Education, or Social Sciences.
- QQI/HETAC qualification in Supervisory Management is desirable.
**Essential Experience:**
*- Supervisory or management experience with staff is advantageous.*
*- Experience working with people with disabilities or additional support needs in a training setting.*
*- Proven ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.*
*- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.*
*- Experience managing projects, developing programmes, and implementing processes.*

*- Understanding of Disability Legislation and Employment Law in Ireland.*

**Responsibilities:**
*- Support the management and delivery of training programmes, including HSE and ETB-funded initiatives.*
*- Assist with day-to-day administration, including HR, training, health and safety, and staff welfare.*
*- Oversee service user progress, including recruitment, assessment, and individualised planning, ensuring records are up-to-date and confidential.*
*- Help implement and revise training programmes to meet quality standards and certification requirements.*
*- Collaborate with external agencies like HSE, ETB, Intreo, and employers to recruit service users, set targets, and achieve outcomes.*
*- Promote mental health strategies and maintain regular communication with referral agencies to ensure service user support.*
*- Manage resources effectively, including staff, equipment, finances, and facilities, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.*
*- Provide guidance and support under the direction of the Area Manager, adhering to NLN policies and procedures.*
**Requirements:**
*- Full Driving Licence and own means of transport*
*- The role will be mainly office based at the National Learning Network, Tralee with travel outside of the office required.*
