What You'll Be Doing
As Payroll Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the ICEpay division.
From payroll coordination and compliance to client care and reporting, you'll help ensure our payroll services run like clockwork.
Here's what the role includes:
Payroll Operations Prepare and coordinate payrolls for timely, accurate processingSupport integration of new payrolls from acquisitionsConduct data audits and troubleshoot interface errorsUpload tax and social insurance informationEnsure compliance with internal controls and documentation standardsClient & Team Engagement Manage queries from clients and temporary workersBuild and nurture strong client relationshipsIdentify opportunities to grow business within existing accountsCollaborate with team members on special projects and continuous improvementReporting & Self-Management Produce weekly/monthly reports to track KPIsEvaluate processes and recommend improvementsSet and meet personal performance targetsAdhere to financial procedures for secure, accurate record-keepingWhat We're Looking For Experience: Minimum 1 year in a payroll or similar roleKnowledge: Solid understanding of payroll systems and tax regulationsQualifications: Professional certification in Payroll or equivalent experienceSkills:Strong organisational and multitasking skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll systems (e.g., Micropay)Ability to problem-solve and make data-informed decisionsA team player who can also work independentlyPerks & Benefits 4 Day Work Week – more time for life (*4 Day Week opportunity comes available after successful probation)Be part of a company that values innovation, development, and funWork in a collaborative, growth-oriented environmentCareer progression and learning opportunitiesOffice-based in Galway — no two days are the same!Ready to take your payroll career to the next level — and do it in 4 days instead of 5?
