Site Architect Role Overview
An award-winning architectural consultancy is seeking an experienced Site Architect to oversee a large-scale project through the construction stage in Galway.
The ideal Architect must have a proven track record in a similar role, ensuring that all works are completed to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
The Site Architect will work closely with the Project Architectural team, Client Representatives, and Contractors. Flexible working arrangements can be facilitated.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
* Assist the Project Architectural team in ensuring all works on-site comply with relevant regulations and standards.
* Conduct daily inspections, document project progress, and resolve issues as they arise.
* Serve as the primary contact for the client's site representatives, maintaining professional relationships and updating the project team.
* Oversee construction to ensure adherence to design specifications and resolve queries as they arise.
* Coordinate with various design professionals, including engineers and other stakeholders.
* Implement and uphold quality control measures across the project.
* Maintain accurate records of site inspections and corrective actions taken by contractors.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology.
* 10+ years of architectural experience, with previous success delivering medium to large-scale projects on site in Ireland.
* Thorough understanding of building regulations.
* Strong attention to detail, ensuring precision in both design and construction phases.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive, solution-driven approach.
* Report writing skills.
