Job Title:
Customer Services & Claims Representative
Responsibilities:
* Enter treatment guarantees into the system.
* Verify policies for coverage and complete treatment guarantees up to authorization stage.
* Follow up on outstanding cases via phone and email.
* Review work queues and prepare for distribution and system management.
* Perform other duties as required and directed by the manager.
* Assist in processing treatment guarantees.
* Collaborate with Manager to create policies for the department.
* Record minutes of team meetings.
* Ensure Health, Safety, and Welfare standards are met within the team (refer to the Company's Safety Statement for full details).
Requirements:
* Experience in the health insurance industry.
* Will to develop Medical knowledge.
* Previous experience in a customer-focused role, in an administrative capacity.
* Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
* Completion or progression towards the Diploma in Private Medical Insurance.
* Able to work effectively within a team environment.
* Honesty and Integrity.
* Able to work under pressure.
* Able to work on own initiative.
* Highly motivated and proactive.
* Strong knowledge of AI tools such as ChatGPT, along with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
