Job Description
Develop and maintain relationships with customers to initiate contact, promote services, and ensure our offers are fully understood by the customer organization. This underpins the commercial objectives of the local organization.
Key Responsibilities
Initiate contact, develop, manage, and implement a commercial strategy for targeted DNO accounts and segments.
Promote and educate applicable installed base services to the target customer base, focusing on customer pain points.
Develop in-depth knowledge of electrical distribution services, including low-voltage and medium-voltage solutions, and apply them across the customer lifecycle.
Cross-sell company offers and develop working knowledge of services from other lines of business (Buildings, IT) to address customer needs.
Establish dynamic sales plans aligned with best-in-sales principles, personal sales plans, company policy, and strategy.
Bridge front office activities, capturing opportunity data, and producing timely reports and forecasts.
Provide relevant information to tendering teams and interact regularly with Field Sales Engineers.
Collaborate with internal colleagues across Entity Sales, Marketing, Technical, and Techno-commercial teams to ensure cross-entity cooperation.
Ensure customer issues are owned and resolved by the most appropriate owners within the business units.
Deliver accurate and timely reporting as required by line managers and provide feedback to marketing.
Maintain customer and partner records using company tools.
Monitor competitor actions and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience; at least 2 years of sales experience, preferably in electrical engineering.
* Proven experience in electrical systems, distribution, protection, and power quality.
* Strong account management skills, cold calling, and social selling abilities.
* Excellent communication, persuasion, and influencing skills.
* Active listening and relationship-building skills.
* Energetic and proactive approach to prospecting and networking.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Good knowledge of power systems, secure power, and industry systems.
Desirable
* Background in Building Management Systems (BMS).
