If so, KLA is searching for Engineers to join our installation team in Europe, securing proper tool installation at KLA customer sites and completing all activities required to ensure a KLA tool functions accurately!
Our Installation engineers are a critical part of our new product deployment projects. While traveling to some of the most advanced factories in the world, they work in multicultural teams to meet our project commitments.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Hold pre-installation meetings with the customer to scope unique requirements and create a plan of action to satisfy them.
2. Install tools at customer sites to meet KLA specifications, including system testing according to procedures.
3. Resolve complex system issues in a timely manner using abstract thought, data analysis, and problem-solving methodologies.
4. Manage critical issues across customers and regions.
5. Facilitate verification of tool performance with customers after system testing.
6. Ensure customer satisfaction through various meetings and updates.
7. Perform install/customer-focused application testing to approve the operational quality of the tool.
8. Provide new product installation training to worldwide customer support engineering.

Minimum Qualifications
* 2-3 years semiconductor industry work experience is a bonus.
* Panel of competencies in optical, mechanical, electronic, lithography, metrology, and laser technology is desirable.
* Good technical and analytical skills, with the ability to understand and troubleshoot problems in software and electronic, optic, mechanical, electro-mechanical, or electro-optical systems.
* Knowledge of computer theory and operating systems, i.e., MS Windows.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
