Electrical Instrumentation Technician Apprenticeship
The Electrical Instrumentation Technician Apprenticeship is a 4-year program that enables individuals to obtain the necessary skills, knowledge, and competence to perform effectively as a craft person in industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Comply with Health and Safety requirements
* Work and learn from experienced craft persons
* Understand and use physics
* Use mathematics to solve technical or scientific problems
Apprenticeship Training Programme:
Phase 1: Minimum 12 weeks
With Employer Induction Training
Introduction to Health & Safety Training
Introduction to Tools & Equipment
Introduction to Basic Skills
Phase 2: Delivered in Training Centre (27 weeks)
Course Content: Induction Electricity/Electronics Installation Techniques Measurement - Pressure Measurement - Flow Measurement - Level Measurement - Temperature Automatic Control Related Theory
Phase 3-7:
Minimum 26 weeks With Employer Work Based Training and Assessments
Delivered in Educational College (21-11 weeks)
Course Content: Various topics related to electricity, electronics, and instrumentation
Qualifications:
Must-Have: Minimum of Leaving Certificate Qualification or Leaving Certificate Results Pending for year of application.
Nice-to-Have: Safe Pass
Additional Information:
