Job Description:
As a Facilities Manager, you will join our team in Stamullen, County Meath, working a Monday to Friday position, 100% on-site. Your role will involve managing facilities, equipment, and teams to ensure seamless operations.
Main Responsibilities:
* Maintain facility and plant equipment, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
* Collaborate with related functions to deliver outputs on a 24/7 shift basis.
* Develop excellent communication and assertiveness skills, with strong attention to detail.
* Manage various contracts, including utilities, security, cleaning, pest control, landscaping, fire protection, security alarms, CCTV, access control, and other related facilities systems.
* Lead, supervise, and develop a facilities support team of engineers and technicians, operating on a 24/5 and weekend basis.
* Update relevant SOPs, documentation, and technical papers.
* Work closely with site stakeholders to deliver outputs and capacity enhancement projects.
* Provide technical support for new projects, retrofits, product introductions, and transfers.
* Address and manage documentation issues arising from engineering activities.
* Assist or lead technical improvements under the department's continuous improvement program.
* Collaborate with equipment vendors to address performance issues.
* Manage and lead a team of engineers, technicians, and tool room operatives, focusing on scheduling, supervision, and development of engineering practices.
* Solve problems and troubleshoot equipment issues during start-up, operation, and qualification.
* Contribute to QA investigations and cross-functional investigations.
* Manage budgets, forecasts, purchasing, and spares management for assigned areas.
* Assist with installation and operational qualification of new and existing equipment.
* Attend daily handover meetings and organize outside contractors.
* Integrate new employees into the group and maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and GMP at all times.
* Ensure safe working practices within their area, adhering to company and legislative health, safety, and environmental requirements.
* Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Engineering Director.
