You will join a global team that supports the bank's critical global applications, running on Linux, UNIX, and Windows operating systems.
Responsibilities
* Work as part of a global team across Tralee, London, and New York.
* Provide support for a wide variety of Fintech applications and technologies, primarily in the release and production environment.
* Implement automation solutions and preventative measures for repetitive tasks and issues.
* Responsible for application configuration & deployment, issue resolution & business user requests.
* Occasional travel to the USA is required for this role.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills are expected.
* Occasional weekend and on-call (24X7) support will be required on a rotational basis.
Qualifications and Skills
* 3+ years’ experience in a similar position with a degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
* Understanding of Linux operating systems (Red Hat or AIX).
* Experience supporting and administering Linux operating systems.
* Experience in supporting ANSIBLE product and playbook experience is a must.
* Experience in Supporting OpenShift Cluster, tomcat container platform is an added advantage.
* Experience in supporting tomcat, apache web applications.
* Experience in supporting CI/CD is a plus.
* Experience in GITHUB is a plus.
* Experience installing and configuration of the application software.
* Experience in recovering applications in DR is a plus.
* Experience in applying application patches and maintenance packs.
* Experience using Oracle SQL.
* Experience using automation tools or writing automation scripts.
* Experience application monitoring in eGurkha is a plus.
* Experience in Illumio will be an added advantage.
