David Williams & Co. Architects are seeking an experienced architectural graduate or recently qualified architect to join our studio in Dublin. Minimum 2-3 years experience of working in an architectural practice is essential, with excellent design and communication skills. The role will involve becoming a key member of our small but growing team while delivering interesting new housing and public buildings with opportunities for further career development. Experience with Autodesk Revit is a requirement for this role.
Responsibilities:
* Working with the director on multiple projects at various stages and scales in the office.
* Working directly with clients and the design team.
* Developing and managing 2D and 3D drawing packages in Revit.
* Managing time and reporting progress in an efficient manner.
* To be involved in design and contribute to the design direction of the office.
* To attend meetings and record minutes and actions.
Requirements:
* A recognised qualification in Architecture and minimum 2-3 years Irish professional experience
* Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively
* Ability to manage deadlines
* Revit skills are required
* Excellent design abilities and ability to express designs in a variety of media
* An interest in professional development and in being a core member of the practice.
* Confident, ambitious and creative, capable of finding solutions in complex situations.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to coordinate with clients, design teams and contractors.
* Working knowledge of Irish Planning and Building Regulations and on-site procedures.
