As a Safety Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of safety on-site while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver a world-class facility. This is a full-time position based on-site at a state-of-the-art data centre project.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor Health and Safety (H&S) policies and procedures specifically for fire protection systems, including sprinklers.
Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards related to sprinkler system installation and testing.
Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks related to fire safety and sprinkler system operations.
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to promote a proactive safety culture in fire protection installations.
Maintain up-to-date documentation and reports for H&S compliance, specifically in relation to sprinkler systems and fire protection.
You will need:
Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on experience in a health and safety role, preferably in construction or utilities sectors.
Relevant H&S qualifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent certifications.
