Instrument & Controls Engineer - EPCM
This role involves specifying and procuring process and BMS field instrumentation, developing I/O lists and instrument indexes, designing control systems, schematics and drawings in various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Specify and procure process and BMS field instrumentation
* Develop I/O lists and instrument indexes
* Design control systems, schematics and drawings
* Develop instrument datasheets from concept through procurement
* Participate in HAZOPs, ATEX reviews, SIL assessments and Interlock reviews
* Review and input into P&IDs
* Develop Functional Specifications (FS) and User Requirements Specifications (URS) when required
* Develop system architecture for new Control Systems
* Work with automation contractors in developing solutions/systems
* Evaluate GAMP5 lifecycle and 21CFR Part 11 Compliance
* Establish automation and controls systems scope of work
* Perform site work, dealing with clients/electrical contractors
* Attend site meetings, construction and commissioning support
* Estimate values of both completed works and approximate values of any additional works
* Prepare snag list of installed works
Requirements:
* Third level degree in a relevant I&C Engineering discipline
* Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, ideally in an organisation involved in delivering Industrial projects
* Ability to work with Automation Contractors in developing solutions/systems
* Proactive, good communicator with ability to work well with others in a multifunctional design team
Package:
Salary €80k-€90k dependant on experience
