Job Description:
TTM in partnership with our client, a well-established Homecare Provider in South Dublin, is currently recruiting a Quality Manager for our busy office in South Dublin. This dynamic role will involve full ownership of the Quality Management Processes for all our Dublin 14 Clients. The role includes regularly visiting Clients in their homes and managing a small team of Quality Supervisors.
The office duties will include:
1. Contacting family members and carers, resolving routine and complex issues, and ensuring that the service meets expectations.
2. Updating care plans, recording and documenting visits, and maintaining a complex tracking system for every Client.
The main functions of the role will include but are not limited to:
1. Taking ownership and managing the QA function for all Clients in the Dundrum branch.
2. Managing and planning the performance of all regular quarterly visits by field-based supervisors.
3. Carrying out first Quality visits and Risk assessments for new clients, ensuring smooth service settlement and compliance.
4. Conducting additional Quality visits in Clients' homes to resolve or pre-empt active difficulties.
5. Following up with family members, health care professionals, and carers as required.
6. Entering records of quality visits on People Planner and updating the QA tracker and related admin.
7. Identifying and preventing any emerging issues with Clients and their service.
8. Contributing to team effort and assuming other duties related to providing quality service to Clients.
9. Managing procedures for complaints and incidents, ensuring all events are investigated, resolved, recorded, and shared as appropriate.
10. Reporting to the Director of Operations and regularly meeting with Care Managers to update them on Clients' status and changing needs.
11. Other duties as they arise in a small team during a transitional period for the Homecare company.
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
1. Degree / Diploma or equivalent qualification.
2. Experience in an office-based management role in a related industry.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Ability to work autonomously, manage a busy workload, and adapt to change.
5. Confidence in technology use and a good understanding of Excel.
6. Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
7. Ability to connect and mediate between clients, their family members, and their Carers.
8. A friendly, approachable, and empathetic manner.
9. A genuine interest in working with the Elderly in the Community and improving their Quality of life.
This is a full-time position, fixed hours 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with self-managed appointments.
