This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounts/Office Administrator at Matflo Engineering, Mallow, Co. Cork. As an Accounts/Office Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, processing invoices, and ensuring accuracy in financial records. This individual will work closely with other office staff to support day-to-day operations and contribute to the overall financial health of the company. The preferred candidate should possess superb organizational skills, pay close attention to details, experience with Excel, and be capable of multitasking.
Accounts Payable
* Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
* Verify invoice details, including pricing, quantities, and terms.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
Accounts Receivable
* Assist in generating and sending out customer invoices.
* Assist in sending out Customer Statements at the end of each month.
* Assist in the end-of-month procedures to close off sales and produce necessary reports.
General Administrative Support
* Provide administrative assistance to finance function, including payroll processing, filing, data entry, and document preparation.
* Provide office administration support including reception/phone answering, greeting customers/suppliers, managing Health and Safety files, and organizing any necessary training. Responsible for hotel and/or flight reservations for site staff, ordering of stock, etc.
* Assist in special projects and ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
* Liaise with customers and suppliers with different queries that arise from day-to-day operations.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a finance or accounting role; accounting technician qualification and/or payroll qualification is desirable.
* Strong analytical skills with competency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel.
* Experience with Sage and Thesaurus is desirable.
* Highly motivated, honest, reliable with excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Flexibility to self-learn and improve.
Schedule
* Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm
* Friday 8am to 3pm
