The Role
Our client, a leading Engineering and Manufacturing business, is seeking a skilled Technical Sales Executive to join their team in Cork. This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid position.
As the Technical Sales Executive, you will provide technical and commercial support, resolve issues, drive sales, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver accurate and prompt technical and commercial support to existing and prospective customers in Ireland and the UK.
* Assist and advise customers on resolving technical issues and queries related to the product range and its applications.
* Take ownership of personal, departmental, and company KPIs, driving performance and continuous improvement.
* Meet deadlines and contribute to achieving team and departmental goals and targets.
* Ensure strict adherence to ISO 9000 Quality Standards and Health & Safety procedures.
* Perform additional duties as assigned by company management to support business objectives.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a technical sales role, ideally in Process, Mechanical, or Instrumentation fields.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations, clear reports, and effective verbal communication.
* Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to build effective relationships with customers and supply chain partners.
* Proficient in administration and IT, including hands-on experience with MS Excel, MS Word, and ERP systems.
* Skilled at identifying customer needs and delivering tailored solutions to achieve high levels of satisfaction.
* Reliable, dedicated, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex tasks and challenges.
