Day Service Manager
We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to lead our day services team in Tipperary.
About the Role:
This is a full-time permanent position, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the daily operational delivery of the day services, providing professional leadership to ensure high-quality, person-centred services.
Main Responsibilities:
* Deliver best practices in high-quality, person-centred services and supports in line with New Directions and our policies, ethos, and values.
* Manage all aspects of the daily operational delivery of the day services.
* Provide professional leadership to ensure high-quality, person-centred services.
* Monitor service quality to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
Requirements:
* Relevant 3rd level qualification equivalent to level 7/8 in health or social care or nursing background.
* Recognised Management/Leadership Qualification to a minimum QQI Level 6.
* 5 years post-qualification experience in a similar setting with evidence of leading services & supervising teams in the delivery of person-centred supports.
* Knowledge of New Directions and the EASI tool.
* Previous experience of managing staff and working within allocated resources.
* Previous experience in supporting individuals who present with Challenging Behaviour.
* Previous experience of legislation relevant to the role (e.g. Health and Safety, Employment legislation etc.).
* Motivational and leadership skills.
* Holds an up-to-date, valid Irish Driving License.
* Eligibility to work in Ireland.
