About the Role Were looking for a Freight Quality Manager to take charge of compliance, quality assurance, and security across our freight operations.
Youll be key in ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly, our service levels remain top-tier, and that we meet all regulatory and customer expectations.
What Youll Be Doing Own and manage our Quality Management System (QMS) for freight operations, ensuring compliance with ISO9001:2015.
Keep us on track with AEO and TAPA security standards, leading digital innovation in compliance processes.
Conduct audits, drive corrective actions, and work with cross-functional teams to uphold high operational standards.
Ensure quality data flows smoothly regular updates via meetings, reports, and communication channels.
Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and customers to maintain top-tier service levels and compliance.
Develop and enforce SOPs, track performance metrics, and provide key operational insights.
Oversee supplier approvals, technical agreements, and service level contracts.
Manage licenses, certifications, and memberships to ensure full regulatory compliance.
Train and upskill teams, fostering a culture of quality, safety, and operational excellence.
What were looking for: 3+ years experience in quality management within freight forwarding, transport, or logistics.
Degree in Quality or related discipline/equivalent experience considered an advantage Solid understanding of ISO9001 & AEO (knowledge of GDP, BRC, and food safety/security guidelines is a plus).
Proven experience with internal and external audits (Internal Auditor qualification is desirable).
Strong leadership and coaching skills able to motivate teams and embed a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
Excellent problem-solving abilities handling multiple priorities in a fast-moving freight/logistics setting.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills experience working with customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and solid planning/reporting skills.
Own transport required occasional site visits will be necessary.
EU Work Visa (non-student) required to apply.
