Our client an established multinational based close to Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan are currently recruiting for an Accounts & Purchasing Administrator to join their team.
Reporting directly to senior management, you will have the following duties:
- Processing creditors invoices onto computerised system (Opera)
- Preparing and processing monthly supplier payments.
- Reconciliation of monthly creditors reconciliations.
- Completion of Bank reconciliations.
- Dealing with all queries in respect of suppliers.
- Consulting with Managers and Department leaders on all invoice and order queries and following with all invoices for approval with line Managers.
- Processing incoming stock materials on to computerised stock system
- Preparation of month end computerised stock usage and final stock listings.
- Payroll administration
- Consulting with production planning department as to their raw material needs on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Physical checking of material stock levels v's computerised stock levels prior to reordering.
- Raising purchase orders and communication with suppliers of raw materials and consumables for production department.
- Following up with order confirmation, delivery dates and rescheduling of deliveries with suppliers when necessary.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills—you'll be working closely with various teams across the business
- Solid IT knowledge, with MS suite essential; experience with Opera is a definite advantage
- An analytical thinker with a problem-solving approach, able to break down complex issues and find practical solutions
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines
- A proactive team player with a track record of achieving goals and driving results
- A self-starter who shows initiative and understands what it takes to get the job done
