THE ROLEWe are seeking a part-time Bookings Office Assistant to join our busy bookings office.
You'll play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive the best experience through the booking process and beyond.
This is an interesting and varied role, working with a friendly team in a truly stunning location in Connemara.
The ideal candidate is an organized individual with great people skills, adept at multitasking, prioritizing tasks, and managing time effectively.
Punctuality and reliability are vital, as you will be the first point of contact for our customersRESPONSIBILITIESBooking managementAdministration: Monitor and manage all bookings via phone, email, and online booking system
Processing:
Handle all bookings and inquiries professionally, sending booking confirmation details to customers
Communication:
Answer phones, address queries, pass them to relevant departments, and take clear and concise messages
System Management:
Manage and update online bookings via the Booking Layer system, ensuring accurate daily updates on capacity and availability
Financials:
Monitor and process deposits, payments, and invoices
Customer Service:
Answer customer queries and resolve any issues with bookings or reservations
Liaison:
Coordinate with other departments to keep bookings up-to-date and inform the reception and activity office of any changes
SalesPromotion:
Promote and sell our activities and packages, highlighting their unique features
Conversion:
Convert inquiries into bookings by engaging with customers and offering tailored recommendations
Follow-Up:
Proactively follow up with potential customers to secure bookings and answer any questions
Cross-Selling:
