As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager to join our team.
Position Overview: As the Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service department and delivering an exceptional after-sales experience to our customers. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the after-sales process, including service operations, customer satisfaction, and team management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Service Operations Management:
o Supervise and coordinate service operations to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of customer vehicles.
o Schedule loading, allocate resources, and manage service advisors and technicians to maximise productivity and minimise turnaround times.
o Monitor service quality and ensure adherence to manufacturer standards and dealership policies.
2. Customer Satisfaction:
o Champion a customer-centric approach and strive to exceed customer expectations at every touchpoint.
o Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
o Monitor customer feedback and implement initiatives to enhance service quality and satisfaction levels.
3. Team Management:
o Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
o Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to team members to foster growth and excellence.
o Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
4. Financial Performance:
o Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability in the after-sales department.
o Monitor key performance indicators such as service revenue, gross margin, Work in Progress, Warranty claims, and take corrective actions as needed.
o Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports in collaboration with dealership management.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Automotive Management, or a related field is preferred, however not essential.
* Proven experience in automotive after-sales management, dealing with a high-volume brand is essential, preferably in a dealership environment.
* Strong understanding of automotive service operations, including technical knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures.
* Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
* Exceptional customer service skills with a track record of building long-term customer relationships.
* Proficiency in dealership management software (Keyloop preferable).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
Benefits: This position will pay a highly attractive basic salary and a commensurate bonus scheme for the right candidate. A company car, phone and laptop will also be provided.
