Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Engineer to join our team in Cavan, Ireland.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to develop and implement a reliable Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and plan and deliver maintenance projects across our site.

The plant in Cavan is currently undergoing a major upgrade to become a world-class manufacturing facility.
The ideal candidate will be required to be on-call during an agreed-upon time slot to ensure seamless maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Scope and execute all maintenance works, including repair, preventive, predictive, and design-out activities, on our plant and equipment.
* Maximize equipment reliability through effective planned maintenance.
* Restore equipment to design capability using planned maintenance.
* Maximize equipment availability through optimized planned maintenance.
* Develop cost and time-based estimates for planned maintenance work, including overtime, contractor, and component costs.
* Create maintenance procedures that promote high-quality defect-free maintenance work while incorporating EHS best practices.
* Maintain accurate technical information on processes, plant, and equipment.
* Lead root cause failure analysis investigations.
* Schedule maintenance work into production plans.
* Prioritize weekly and annual planned maintenance shutdowns.
* Capture and report KPIs for equipment reliability, maintenance department performance, and planning and scheduling business flow process.
* Collaborate with the maintenance team to optimize manpower and resource allocation.
* Participate in World Class Manufacturing processes and projects, owning the Reliability pillar board.
* Ensure compliance training is up-to-date.
* Adhere to all EHS activities.
Requirements:
* Degree-level qualification in an engineering discipline.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in high-volume heavy manufacturing engineering.
* Strong ICT skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
* Familiarity with CMMS (PEMAC).
* Trade qualification as a Fitter.
* Experience managing diverse operational responsibilities.
* Proven track record of successful project management.
* Excellent data analysis skills and a hands-on attitude.
* Able to write detailed repair reports and possess good verbal communication skills.
* Strong presentation skills and ability to lead large teams.
