Clinical Nurse Manager II: Oncology Day Care Charge Nurse
Responsible for the overall management and direction of the oncology day care unit.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical leadership to a team of nurses, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
* Develop and implement effective nursing strategies to improve patient outcomes, staff satisfaction, and unit efficiency.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
* Maintain accurate records, reports, and data related to unit operations, quality improvement initiatives, and personnel matters.
* Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting staff development, retention, and engagement.
Requirements:
* RN registration and current practicing certificate.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in oncology nursing, preferably in a leadership role.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Postgraduate diploma or degree in nursing management or a related field.
* Certification in a relevant area, such as oncology nursing or leadership.
