Position: Audit Senior or Assistant Manager
Start date: ASAP
Salary: from €42,000 - €55,000 per annum, depending on experience
Location: Cork, Ireland (office based)
The Role
Meraki Talent are working with an independent, well-established CA firm based in Cork, Ireland. This is a growing, dynamic team, providing services to clients in the areas of audit and accountancy, tax, and deal advisory services. The client portfolio is sector agnostic, across the local and larger domestic market, and varies in size from SMEs to businesses with million+ turnover.
The firm is looking to appoint an experienced Audit Senior or Assistant Manager to join the close-knit team of professionals.
This is an excellent opportunity to diversify your experience and work with other service lines as well. You will work closely with senior management, the audit team, and coordinate with the wider business. You will take ownership and responsibility for your client portfolio and manage your workload and deadlines. You will be involved in the supervision and development of more junior staff.
Requirements
At a minimum, you should meet the below criteria:
* Qualified ACA/ACCA or other equivalent
* Approximately 3-7 years of experience in external audit
* Attention to detail
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills
* A self-starter with the drive to meet targets and deadlines
* A team player
* Strong experience with Irish accounting standards (FRS 102, FRS 105)
* Right to work in Ireland is essential for this role, no visa sponsorship available.
Desired Attributes
* Experience working on tax matters and/or tax qualification
* Experience with IFRS

This opportunity offers a competitive salary depending on your experience (around €44,000 - €55,000 per annum). You will receive study support and have the opportunity to take part in regular company socials. Parking is also available.
