This is a full-time, permanent position, Monday to Friday.
Your new job Company AccountantResponsibilities: Full responsibility for monthly and annual management accounts.
Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping and transaction processing.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
Carry out bank reconciliations and manage cash flow forecasting.
Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure all statutory compliance.
Process payroll and maintain accurate employee payment records.
Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
Provide timely and insightful financial analysis to management.
Monitor budgets, investigate variances, and suggest cost-saving measures.
Maintain and optimise accounting software, ensuring data accuracy.
Take on general office management responsibilities to support daily operations.
Company Accountant Requirements: Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar accounting role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Proficient in accounting software such as sortmybooks.
Advanced Excel skills and solid general IT knowledge.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to business operations.
Knowledge of Irish tax regulations is essential.
