About the Role
This is a full-time, permanent position as a QA Manager for a leading national company in the manufacturing of bread and bakery products.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Food Safety and Quality Systems, ensuring good manufacturing practices are in place to meet customer and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for Quality Food Safety systems on site, including HACCP, Plant Hygiene, GMP, Pest Control, Internal Audits, and Customer Complaints.
* Ensure product quality meets agreed specifications consistently.
* Lead a culture of continuous improvement, working closely with site Management and Team Leaders.
* Train all staff on site and manage contract cleaning.
* Plan and implement corrective/preventative actions as required.
* Ensure company policy and operational standards are maintained.
* Identify and action cost reductions while adhering to site Health & Safety requirements.
Requirements
* 3rd level qualification.
* 3-5 years' experience in a Food Safety/Quality Assurance role.
* Auditing experience, including internal, customer, regulatory, and 3rd Party.
* People management experience.
* Flexibility.
* Problem-solving abilities.
* Strong communication skills.
* Computer literate.
