Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our team in CH07 Mid Kildare. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing an occupational therapy service to include assessment, diagnostics, and intervention to children with a range of disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for children with physical, sensory, learning disabilities, developmental delay, and autism.
* Provide ongoing occupational therapy services to children aged 0-18 years.
* Work collaboratively with inter/trans-disciplinary teams to provide comprehensive services to children and families.
Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must:
* Be registered or eligible for registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
* Have a high standard of suitability and professional ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
* Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
* Be eligible to work in the state.
* Hold a valid driving licence for within the state/jurisdiction with access to own transport to deliver services across a large geographical area.
* Maintain annual registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
Desirable Criteria
Postgraduate experience working with children and families in a community-based setting and postgraduate experience working in disability services for a minimum of 6 months are desirable.
