About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Customer Service Specialist to join our Control Tower team in Limerick. As a Customer Service professional, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients in both English and German. You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient communication and problem resolution between various stakeholders, including clients, carriers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will possess fluency in both English and German, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
How You Will Contribute
1. Provide outstanding customer service to clients in both English and German, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
2. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, effectively communicating shipment status updates, delivery schedules, and any potential issues or delays.
3. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including operations, logistics, and warehousing, to coordinate timely and accurate order fulfilment.
4. Liaise with external partners and carriers to track shipments, resolve delivery discrepancies, and ensure on-time delivery to customers.
5. Document and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions using designated systems and tools.
6. Proactively identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices for customer service operations.
7. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and service level agreements (SLAs) to meet or exceed performance targets and customer satisfaction metrics.
What You Will Bring
1. Fluency in both English and German (written and verbal) is essential.
2. Previous experience of at least two years in customer service, with a preference for candidates who have worked in a logistics or supply chain environment.
3. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information and resolve issues with customers and internal teams.
4. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to customer inquiries and challenges.
5. Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM or ticketing systems is a plus.
