About the Role
Our client is a fast-paced and innovative organisation with 40+ years of expertise within their market sector.
You will play a key role in diagnosing, repairing and maintaining equipment and systems across the water and wastewater industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspect, diagnose, and repair a range of equipment such as pumps, valves, and motors
* Conduct routine and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and performance
* Assist in the installation and commissioning of new mechanical systems and components
* Provide technical expertise during equipment upgrades and replacements
* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
* Provide on-site support to clients as needed, ensuring timely and effective service delivery
Requirements
* Previous experience in mechanical service, maintenance, or engineering roles, preferably in the water and wastewater industry
* Pump installation and maintenance experience would be desirable
* Strong technical skills, with an awareness or ability to work with electrical systems
* NVQ/ City and Guilds qualifications in engineering would be desirable
* CSR card would be desirable
* Willing to train junior employees/ apprentices
* Good organisation and communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and able to work with minimal supervision
* A clean Full UK driving licence
