McHale is currently recruiting an experienced Warehouse Operative in our Spare Parts department. This is a permanent position, reporting to the Inventory Manager.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Picking and packing customer spare parts daily orders, shipping via multiple courier systems (DHL, UPS, DPD).
2. Preparing large customer stock orders for shipment with machine loads.
3. Prioritizing picking sequences during busy season.
4. Co-ordinating and confirming deliveries and expediting urgent parts.
5. Stock taking, location auditing and general store work.
6. Dealing with Customers via email and phone.
7. Quality control on deliveries.
8. Labeling / packaging with company logo.
9. Locating material and maximizing space requirements.
10. Processing receipts onto MRP system.
11. Stock control, location auditing, Store layout planning and sequencing, Recording weights.
12. Restocking of high moving lines and management of consumables.
13. Maintain a tidy and safe working environment.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
1. Previous experience in a busy stores department is advantageous, preferably in Manufacturing.
2. Forklift driving experience desirable.
3. Dynamic team player and can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams.
4. High level of enthusiasm and motivation and the ability to take input from others and meet tight schedules.
5. An agricultural background is desirable but not essential.
