Our client is involved in Financial Services and require an Azure or GCP DevOps engineer to execute various architectural plans as they migrate from on-prem to various cloud providers.

The role

* Work within existing architectures to execute migration plans from on-prem architecture to Azure and GCP, working alongside internal architects and external service providers.
* Utilising IaC experience (Terraform/Ansible and related tools) to map scripting to landing zones, test and ultimately go live as well as working with Rackspace Hosting.
* Bringing EKS/GKS Kubernetes Services expertise to bear on current processes and bringing improvement to subsequent product migrations over the coming two years.
* Deep understanding of DevOps Deployment Pipelines, CI/CD.

Requirements

* 6+ years of post-grad commercial experience.
* Certifications in Azure (e.g. Solutions Architect) and/or GCP Cloud will be ideal.
* PCI DSS Payment Processing experience a definite advantage.
* Track record in working on on-prem to cloud migrations.
* Kubernetes, Azure, GCP, Landing Zones, Rackspace, CI/CD and Automation.
* Exceptional communication skills both written and spoken.
