Senior Manager Device Supplier Assurance

About the Role
The Senior Manager - Device Supplier Management role will make an impact every day by:
1. Responsibility for generating and managing Supplier Control SOPs aligned with ISO13485, 21 CFR 820, and 21 CFR part 4 compliance, with emphasis on supplier selection, evaluation, and management.
2. Conducting supplier technical assessments identified as technical capability for potential business opportunities.
3. Generating Quality Technical Agreements and contractual agreements for CMOs and service providers, along with maintaining MSA's and CDA's.
4. Maintaining a supplier technical assessment schedule and approved supplier list against business needs.
5. Serving as primary contact for communications, escalation, and resolution of supplier-related quality and technical issues that may impact program timelines or contractual obligations.
6. Supporting the generation of projects, purchasing/supplier specifications.
7. Establishing a supplier database against cost, experience, and performance.
8. Building solid relationships within Device Development, Device Compliance, Program Management, Legal, Finance, and external Viatris QA, CMOs, and service providers.
About Your Skills & Experience
We're looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills, and experiences:
* Degree in Engineering/Biomedical Science, Engineering or equivalent, with relevant experience within a medical device supplier lead role.
* Experience within a medical devices and container closure systems environment with emphasis on drug delivery technologies would be a distinct advantage.
* Experience of supplier evaluation and selection against technical need.
* Excellent technical report writing skills.
* Sound problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communicator: clear and concise in communications with External and Internal partners with the ability to work flexibly across a multi-disciplinary team in jointly achieving departmental goals and established timelines.
* Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English is required.
* Attention to detail in all aspects of supplier management and a systematic approach to tasks.
