We are currently recruiting for a skilled Manufacturing FP&A professional to join our Factory team onsite in Clondalkin, Dublin 22.
This role is crucial in driving both our financial and non-financial performance through a robust management framework.
You will be instrumental in developing projections, managing budgets and evaluating strategic options.
A key responsibility will be compiling and presenting the Factory balanced Scorecard, encompassing Customer Satisfaction & Safety, Internal Processes (OEE, etc.
), Financial performance, and Learning & Growth, providing actionable insights to leadership.
A strong focus on measuring and reporting non-financial KPIs is essential.
This position is ideal for an experienced FP&A professional, with a manufacturing background, ideally within the food industry.
Key Responsibilities: Balanced Scorecard Ownership: Communicate performance across all tiers, from shareholders to factory management and shop floor line leads.
This includes updating and presenting non-financial KPIs to shop floor personnel.
Raw Material Yield: Own and manage the measurement of raw material yield.
Process & Profit Improvement: Identify and recommend data-driven process improvements within the factory to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
Collaborate with Continuous Improvement (CI) teams to drive cost-saving initiatives and develop reports on these initiatives, using insights from the Balanced Scorecard.
Business Partnering: Collaborating closely with other departments within the factory (e.g., production, Quality & HR) to provide financial insights and support their initiatives.
Shareholder Presentations: Support the Factory Manager in preparing and delivering presentations to shareholders.
Reporting & Analysis: Create internal reports to support company decision-making, including: Budgeting & Forecasting: Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes, from annual forecasts to five-year projections.
Digitisation Project: Contribute to the factory's digitisation project, supporting the implementation of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) that will measure performance.
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will be an experienced FP&A professional ideally with a manufacturing background and within the food industry.
Qualifications & Skills: Essential: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
Desirable: Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA).
Relevant experience as a Financial Planning and Accounting position within a manufacturing environment or related field.
Experience in the food industry.
Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, SQL,, OLAP).
Strong financial analysis skills, including experience with variance analysis, forecasting, and financial modelling.
Proficiency in developing and managing budgets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear and concise reports and presentations.
Advanced Excel skills.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, AS400).
