Job Title: Epic Willow Analyst - Hybrid
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Epic Willow Analyst to join our team in Letterkenny. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support and guidance on the implementation and optimization of the Epic Willow system.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical expertise and experience in the design, build, and testing of assigned Epic modules related to Willow.
* Collaborate with end-users to design and build the Epic system in a timely and professional manner, making corrective configurations or enhancements as needed.
* Lead small to medium complexity Epic software upgrade initiatives or enhancements, including the design, build, and test phases.
* Participate in design and validation sessions, ensuring appropriate documentation, follow-up, and issue escalation occurs.
* Provide technical and/or clinical consultation, including application configuration, review, analysis, and evaluation of system needs to develop recommendations for customers.
* Develop, support, and maintain all required system design and build documents and other system documentation.
* Perform daily monitoring of applications in production use.
* Actively participate in all phases of the testing lifecycle and perform unit, system, and integrated testing tasks and activities for EpicCare Inpatient workflow.
* Provide support for application incidents reported through the help desk, including 24/7 on-call coverage as required.
Requirements
* Degree required (e.g., Associate, Bachelor, Master) or a minimum of proven years' healthcare experience.
* Active/current Epic certification in at least one area (Willow, Beacon, etc.) and strong Epic experience.
* Direct client healthcare domain knowledge (clinical documentation workflow, patient portal, closing encounters, patient flow).
Preferred Qualifications
* Ability to demonstrate and have a history of team management, cross-team communication, and leadership skills.
* Experience in department build and implementing community connect locations.
* Proficiency with Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
* Experience mentoring individuals or teams within the system.
* Knowledge and experience using basic and intermediate project management tools and techniques.
* Ability to handle multiple client assignments and communicate with all stakeholders involved.
* Ability to communicate tactfully and work effectively with patients, physicians, vendors, and system staff at all levels.
