Technical Pre-Sales Specialist – Microsoft Business Applications
This is a hybrid role, based remotely and onsite in either our Dublin/Belfast or UK office.
Ergo is a leading technology solutions provider specializing in Microsoft Business Applications, including Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Technical Pre-Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in translating business challenges into innovative technical solutions, working collaboratively with our sales and technical teams to deliver optimal solutions to our clients.
Key Role Responsibilities
Technical Expertise
* Possess in-depth knowledge and certifications in Microsoft Business Applications, particularly Dynamics 365 (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Field Service) and the Power Platform.
* Stay updated on the latest product releases and industry trends.
* Collaborate with the sales team and client to understand client requirements and objectives.
* Translate business challenges into comprehensive technical solutions leveraging Microsoft Business Applications.
* Develop and present customized product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
Solution Design and Proposal Development
* Work closely with the technical team to design tailored solutions that address client needs and align with our capabilities.
* Develop proof-of-concept (PoC) and prototype solutions to showcase functionality and feasibility.
* Assist in the preparation of high-quality proposals, technical documentation, and responses to tender documents.
* Ensure that proposals are technically sound, aligned with client requirements, and compliant with industry standards.
Client Engagement
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and needs assessment.
* Conduct client workshops and consultations to gather requirements and provide technical insights.
* Understand the competitive landscape and market dynamics related to Microsoft Business Applications.
* Assist in pricing strategies and cost estimations for proposed solutions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and technical experts, to ensure a unified approach to client solutions.
* Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members when necessary.
* Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and enhancements in the pre-sales process.
* Share feedback and insights with product development teams to contribute to product improvement.
Education, Qualifications & Skills
* Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology).
* Relevant certifications in Microsoft Business Applications, such as Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
* Proven experience in a technical pre-sales role within the Microsoft ecosystem.
* Strong ability to understand and translate complex technical concepts into simple, business-focused language.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Commercially aware with the ability to contribute to pricing and proposal strategies.
* Proficiency in responding to tender documents and RFPs.
* Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to adapt to changing technology landscapes and business requirements.
