Regulatory and Compliance Manager, Kilkenny
This role is responsible for delivering the food and feed regulatory compliance.
You will ensure that internal standards and policies are understood and applied correctly for product formulations, specifications, labels, claims at all stages of manufacturing, supply chain, storage, and distribution.
Responsibilities
* Ensure regulatory compliance across all products (food & feed) produced in-house or at third-party manufacturers;
* Oversee regulatory updates/changes and convey these to relevant work areas and incorporate into new product regulatory reviews;
* Verify that regulatory information on new raw materials and product/packaging declarations from suppliers and TPMs is compliant with selling market's regulatory requirements;
* Complete regulatory reviews of new products (in NPD projects) and existing products going to new markets;
* Organize topic-specific regulatory events to raise awareness and engage stakeholders with evolving regulatory situations;
* Provide regulatory consulting in development of product specifications, claims, labels, services, and communications to ensure regulatory compliance and sign off final documents as regulatory lead;
* Support business by managing regulatory requests to ensure timely response to customers' regulatory queries and internal requests;
* Manage monthly review meeting of day-to-day tasks and Developing Tomorrow projects;
* Provide support to manage regulatory share-point and document control for regulatory relevant internal documents/SOPs.
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years experience in product regulatory compliance & specification management, including delivering product label compliance, claim rationalisation and verification;
* Experience in agricultural, food or dairy industry;
* Experience in managing regulatory requests and preparing balanced response/position to support and protect business against regulatory breaches;
* Strong communication skills;
