This position will be an essential role with the international tax department, and will collaborate closely with the company’s Global Business Services team in Cork, Ireland.You will support the International Tax Manager, also located in Cork, focusing primarily on accounting for income taxes under US GAAP (ASC 740), as well as corporate tax compliance support, for non-NAM jurisdictions.About the positionSupports the preparation and review of corporate income tax provision under ASC-740 for non-NAM jurisdictions, and works closely with the finance team to ensure accurate accounting of current and deferred taxes during quarterly group reporting, Pillar 2 reporting, and statutory reporting. Continuously seeks to enhance processes and controls in these areas.Supports engagements with external service providers for preparation and review of tax returns and return-to-provision reconciliations in non-NAM jurisdictions, including obligations arising under Pillar 2.Responsible for meeting all required deadlines. Supports corporate tax audits, addresses queries, and coordinates the gathering of requested information.Maintains current knowledge of all tax laws affecting the company.Participates in the calculation and invoicing of necessary interim and year-end transfer pricing adjustments, as well as administration of global transfer pricing policy.May be involved with tax planning activities, repatriation planning, and tax implications of mergers and acquisitions.
