Joining a team of five, the Accounts Administrator has excellent attention to detail, accuracy and is a self-motivator. The Accounts Administrator has strong Excel skills and a professional manner for dealing with Commercial Customers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Monitor/process/verify skip and bin data to ensure billing accuracy
2. Follow up with drivers to clarify billing queries
3. Ensure customers have correct invoice documentation
4. Deal with customers in a professional and helpful manner
5. Ensure all tasks are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner
6. Keep all filing up to date and accurate at all times
7. Generate customer reports and sales reports and analysis as agreed
8. Prepare weekly/monthly transaction reconciliation reports
9. Assist in month-end close off
10. Identify and implement system/process improvements
11. Ensure smooth administration between various departments
12. Work with management and the accounts team on various business projects
13. Identify and implement cost reduction activities/processes
14. Perform any other ad hoc administrative duties as they may arise
Qualifications:
1. The successful candidate will hold a Business Degree and/or an equivalent Accounting qualification
2. Demonstrated ability to collate accurate information, analyse it and report it in a manner that can be used by Management in business decision-making
3. Attention to detail, commercial and common-sense approach to problem-solving
4. Professional with strong interpersonal skills
5. The ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines
6. Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads
7. The ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with management, staff, and customers
8. Excellent organisation and administrative skills
9. Highly motivated
10. Proven analytical skills and reporting ability are essential
11. Excellent ability to learn and become proficient in the company IT systems
12. Proficiency expected in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
