Site Manager (Canada)
Exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to relocate to Canada (Vancouver or Toronto) and join the Building Division of one of Canada’s Largest Main Contractors (Circa $4 Billion turnover annually) to work across a mixed portfolio of High-Rise, Commercial, Healthcare, Infrastructure, Transportation, Educational projects.
Duties:
* Report to Construction Manager, accountable for field operations from project planning to completion.
* Manage site operations, overseeing self-performed and subcontracted construction work.
* Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in line with company policies.
* Supervise and mentor foremen and field personnel, including junior site managers.
* Utilise comprehensive knowledge of project management lifecycle and S-Curve.
* Identify and manage project risks and opportunities, escalate commercial issues as needed.
* Develop construction strategies, project execution plans, scheduling, and estimating.
* Enforce project safety protocols, conduct progress and safety meetings with subcontractors.
Requirements:
* Degree or Trade Certification preferred
* 10+ years in Site Management for a main contractor / general contractor
* Experience delivering projects ranging from $20 Million+
* Expertise in cost control, scheduling, subcontractor selection, and safety.
* Experience in healthcare projects and advanced construction engineering would be beneficial.
* Strong leadership in delegation, teamwork, and process improvement.
* Proficient in MS Office and project management software.
Benefits:
* Salary $140,000 to $160,000 CAD (Circa €94k to €107k)
* $15,000 to $25,000 CAD relocation package
