About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at Nua Healthcare Services. You will be working in Ireland's new specialist mental health inpatient service, providing care and treatment for adults aged 18-65 with mental disorders.
Key Responsibilities
* To co-operate with your employer and comply with relevant laws and regulations, including the Health Act 2007, Mental Health Acts, and Safety Health and Welfare at Work Act.
* To ensure patient plans and Incident Care Plans are up-to-date and services meet high quality and safety standards.
* To adhere to local safety statements, risk assessments, and standard operating procedures.
* To follow company policies and procedures, and use IT systems securely.
* To report concerns about patient safety to your line manager or other managers within Nua.
* To act responsibly and cooperate with regulators in the best interests of the service and patients.
Job Specifications
* Mental Health Nursing qualification and registration on the Psychiatric Division of the NMBI.
* Excellent knowledge of medication management and ability to work under pressure.
* Effective communication skills and understanding of individual needs.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good organisation and IT skills, with a flexible approach to work.
* Self-motivated and able to plan time effectively.
