Job Summary
This three-year management development program for a Graduate Electrical Engineer offers an opportunity to work on large-scale projects involving plant maintenance and improvement. The role involves designing and installing electrical infrastructure, commissioning projects, and directing contractors.
Main Responsibilities
* Design and installation of electrical infrastructure for new equipment
* Commissioning of projects, including Medium Voltage networks and motors, Low Voltage networks and motors, Instrumentation and Control Systems
* Troubleshooting of electrical issues on site
* Assisting in management of Electrical Preventative Maintenance system
* Planning major shutdowns/overhauls and responsible for specific projects during shutdowns
* Improving plant availability, troubleshooting and successfully resolving electrical issues in designated areas
* Involvement in development of the electrical documentation and drawings system on site
* Draughting and review of electrical schematics
Requirements
* Awareness of Health and Safety issues
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Auto CAD
* Ability to take responsibility for and control large scale projects
* A minimum 1.1 honours degree (or aiming for a minimum 2.1)
