Service Sales Account Manager - Ireland

We are currently looking for a Service Sales Account Manager – preferably based in the Cork area to join our team, part of the Agilent CrossLab Group. In this role, you will be promoting and selling enterprise solutions and service contracts to assigned accounts in Ireland. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing existing contracts and generating new business to reach your financial targets.
Maintaining and developing existing contracts requires an in-depth understanding of customer needs to promote solutions that make a difference and deliver results.
This is a highly independent role in an international team, where you will be responsible for:
* Managing the installed base inventory, service levels and contract set-up
* Consistently monitoring the contract performance
* Creatively tailoring solutions to meet customer requirements
* Generate new business possibilities and identifying sales opportunities using the full portfolio available
* Driving account plans for growth
The broad portfolio of services and the help from support teams will allow you to propose Lab-wide Enterprise Solutions including Digital Asset Management, Multi-Vendor Services, Relocations and Customer Education in order to develop your business volume.
In this critical sales role, you will utilize your demonstrated commercial expertise to sell solutions consultatively. You will collaborate closely with the local Field Service organization, the Instrument Sales Teams and the other members of the Service Sales team.
Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced, driven and motivated teammate who is passionate about sales and has:
* A Bachelor or Master’s Degree or equivalent experience
* Sales experience in either Agilent's markets, or in enterprise services sales (software, IT)
* Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical, Biopharma and Chemical Analysis industry would be a valued asset
* Perfect networking abilities to integrate customer priorities and influence key stakeholders
* Fluent in English.
