Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance (PAM) Ireland Ltd is Ryanair’s first heavy maintenance facility in Ireland. Established in May 2022 the company supports the maintenance of Ryanair's growing Boeing 737 NG and MAX fleet and is located in a 3-bay hangar in Shannon, Co. Clare. The facility employs highly skilled aircraft engineers, mechanics, and support staff.
The Opportunity:
PAM Ireland Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for a HR Administrator to join our HR team in Hangar 5, Shannon. We are seeking a positive and motivated individual for an entry-level role that will give you the skills and experience to build a rewarding HR career. Reporting to the HR Manager the successful candidate will join a team of highly skilled staff, with an essential part to play in safely maintaining a fleet of 600+ aircraft for one of the world’s largest and most successful airlines.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
* Co-ordinate employee travel arrangements.
* Accounts Payable Administration.
* Create and issue ID Badges for Employees, Contractors and Visitors and coordinate Airport ID’s.
* Create and maintain employee files and manage employee database/smartsheets.
* Act as a point of contact for HR related employee queries.
* Support the recruitment of trainees, apprentices and new employees including the co-ordination of interviews, candidate screening, contract administration, new hire induction and onboarding.
* Assist with the management of company social media accounts.
* Maintain employment records related to promotions, transfers, leave, terminations etc.
* Generate HR reports as required for example: recruitment, headcount, overtime, absence, turnover.
* Assist in the implementation of site internal communications plan.
* Order Stationary for the site.
* Support the HR Manager in the development and implementation of new projects.
* Ad-hoc administration activities in support of overall site operational requirements.
Requirements
* A third-level qualification in Human Resources or at least one year of experience in a HR role.
* Applicants with a strong interest in HR and 1/2 years’ experience in site administration will also be considered.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular Word, Excel and Smartsheets.
* Excellent administration and prioritisation skills and a keen eye for detail.
* Strong client service orientation with discretion and confidentiality.
* A team player with a flexible, positive attitude towards work.
* Successful candidate is required to obtain a clean Garda Criminal Record check to work at the airport.
