A hugely successful construction business is expanding its finance team due to the growth of the overall company.
As they expand here and across Europe, they are looking for a Finance Operations Lead to join them.
The Finance Operations Lead will support the Finance Manager, the payroll administrator, and the larger Finance Team. This role requires experience in a similar role (3+ years), the ability to work within deadlines, and a strong attention to detail.
The company is based in South Dublin and offers hybrid working.
You will:
* Review, preparation and filing of VAT returns for all entities in the group.
* Support to the payroll function, including monthly processing of payrolls.
* Liaise with the HR department to ensure the smooth operation of the payroll function.
* General ledger reconciliations for all payroll/pension-related accounts.
* Provide support to the company expenses process, ensuring claims are in line with company policy and regulatory guidelines.
* Management of the company staff costing system.
Experience:
* 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role.
* Familiarity with Irish and UK VAT.
* An understanding of regulations relating to payroll and other payments to employees and contractors.
* Strong Excel skills and knowledge of payroll systems.
