We are currently recruiting an experienced Admissions Manager who has considerable experience gained from working within the EFL language school sector (minimum 5 years).
The Admissions Manager has responsibility for the planning and managing of the school's admission activities for all recruitment areas.
Responsibilities:
1. Development and management of admission processes in accordance with the policies and standards of Berlitz Dublin
2. Respond to all sales enquiries and bookings within agreed service level targets, including web-based, walk-in, telephone, and email enquiries
3. Maximise sales conversions
4. Liaise with the Marketing team regarding special offers and agent policies
5. Ensure student details are logged accurately and in a timely manner on CLASS and LCMS
6. Report weekly activities, enquiries, and booking conversions against targets
7. Liaise with the Accommodation Officer to ensure that client accommodation is available in a timely fashion
8. Assist with all financial and accounting activities
9. Meet and greet visitors, assist with reception duties
10. Coordinate weekly and monthly admin reports (Bookings and Enquiries)
11. Prepare all monthly salary payment details
12. Prepare all weekly supplier payments
13. Manage administration duties as required, including management and recruitment of admin and admissions staff
14. Organisation and provision of a comprehensive information service, and management and development of relationships with all targeted and potential agents
15. Developing and managing relationships with agents and key business development partners at home and overseas
16. Maintenance of comprehensive records and files for all student files
17. Provision of timely and regular reports to senior management and academic management with up-to-date statistics and analysis of student admissions, making recommendations where necessary
18. Responsible for the management of the admissions processes for all programmes in conjunction with the Director of Studies / ADOS C
19. Management of the entire administrative process to provide support to all student recruitment staff
20. Carrying out QA checks on all student recruitment areas
21. Monitor and report on applications and take-up at programme and school level
22. Additional administrative tasks as delegated by management
23. Liaison and cooperation with management colleagues in identifying opportunities and formulating proposals for new programmes
24. Ensuring seamless transition for all students through admission and induction processes
25. Liaising with accreditation bodies for implementation of QA policies and procedures and compliance with academic standards
26. Research and disseminate information relevant to management and/or the school
27. Identifying trends and opportunities from eligible applicants for development
28. The Admissions Manager will report directly to the Managing Director and will have a high level of day-to-day autonomy
29. Continuously review admissions and delivery processes and make recommendations for improvement
Essential Criteria:

3. Proven ability to communicate information to the public in an effective and professional manner
4. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
5. Good computer and keyboard skills, preferably including word processing, databases, and spreadsheets
6. Ability to work effectively and accurately under pressure
7. Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
8. Ability to work as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives
9. Flexible approach to work
10. Ability to deal with volume at key periods
11. Previous experience of working in an educational institution is essential for this position - minimum 3 years
