ATG are seeking an experienced Associate Director – Project Manager (Rail) to join a dynamic consultancy team in Dublin. This role offers the opportunity to lead and manage major rail infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The successful candidate will play a key role in business development, client engagement, and the strategic growth of rail sector services.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the successful delivery of rail infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
* Develop and implement project management strategies, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and relevant regulations.
* Manage project teams, including engineers, planners, and external consultants, fostering collaboration and high performance.
* Engage with key stakeholders, including government agencies, transport authorities, contractors, and local communities.
* Oversee project budgets, schedules, risk management, and quality assurance processes.
* Support business development activities, including bid preparation, client presentations, and identifying new opportunities.
* Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to junior staff.
Qualifications & Experience
* A degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
* Chartered status with a recognized professional body (e.g., Engineers Ireland, ICE, APM) is highly desirable.
* Minimum of 10 years' experience in project management, with a strong track record in delivering rail or transportation infrastructure projects.
* Knowledge of Irish rail infrastructure regulations, standards, and procurement processes.
* Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and working within a consultancy environment.
* Strong commercial acumen, with experience in contract management (e.g., NEC, FIDIC).
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
