ENG Bauen is pleased to present an exciting opportunity for an EHS Specialist to join a prominent pharmaceutical organisation based in Ireland. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing environmental, health, and safety activities for the modification and expansion of an existing facility, helping to ensure the smooth delivery of essential medical and healthcare solutions.
The organisation is globally recognised for its commitment to advancing medical treatments and therapies through the production of high-quality pharmaceuticals and medical devices. As an EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure the highest standards of EHS practices are adhered to throughout the project, contributing to its successful delivery on time and within budget.
This position is ideal for an experienced EHS professional with a solid background in the pharmaceutical, oil & gas, or petrochemical industries.
The Role:
* Implement HSQE policies to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements for food, FMCG, and pharma.
* Work with project teams to identify and manage HSE risks across all phases.
* Perform risk assessments, develop strategies, and ensure compliance through audits.
* Train staff on HSE practices, focusing on safety in food, FMCG, and pharmaceutical environments.
* Lead safety improvements and promote the HSE Management System.
The Person:
* Experience as an HSE Manager in Food, FMCG, or pharmaceutical industries.
* Strong knowledge of safety standards and HSE regulations in these sectors.
* Excellent communication skills to align teams and stakeholders on safety goals.
* Expertise in HSE audits, risk analysis, and incident prevention.
* IOSH Graduate Membership and NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) required.
* Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
