Exciting Opportunity for Facilities and Technical Maintenance Managers.
Located in Mullingar, you will oversee the upkeep and maintenance of a state-of-the-art distribution centre, measuring over square meters in size. This world-class facility boasts a complex transport and logistics hub, a two-storey office wing, ample parking spaces, and advanced sustainability features, including nearly 3 solar panels generating approximately 20% of its energy needs.
Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day operational processes, costs, and budgets for the entire Distribution Centre.
* Assume technical responsibility for refrigeration, heating, ventilation, generators, power, fire alarms, and warehouse equipment.
* Supervise hard service contractors and soft service providers, such as cleaners.
* Collaborate with the Company Facilities Management Team to ensure compliance with procedures.
Key Duties:
* Plan and delegate daily maintenance activities.
* Address defects identified during internal inspections or external contractor visits.
* Develop and implement new concepts, processes, and procedures through project management.
* Maintain strategic relationships with departmental stakeholders.
* Oversee contractor management, including site inductions and permit-to-work documents.
* Analyse costs and manage budgets.
* Purchase materials, equipment, and consumer goods.
* Process invoices and complete purchase orders.
* E nsure audit compliance.
* Provide on-call service when necessary.
Requirements:
* Educated in Electrical, Refrigeration, Building Services, or a related trade.
* Previous experience in a similar role, demonstrating relevant expertise upon application.
* Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
* Strong administration, organisational, documentation, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Able to meet deadlines and work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Experience leading a team.
* Hands-on technical maintenance skills.
