Shift Maintenance Supervisor - Co. Cork We are currently seeking multiple Shift Maintenance Supervisors to join a fast-moving Food processing company in County Cork.
This is a shift position operating on a 4 cycle (two 12hr days, 2 12hr nights).
This position is a management/supervisor role and is to join a growing company & team within the business.
New equipment installs and a significant investment into the site means we are now seeking skilled Maintenance Supervisors to join.
As a Maintenance Shift Supervisor, you will work alongside the Maintenance Manager to further develop and manage your own team to progressively suit the business needs.
You will lead the Engineering strategy along with the Production & Site Leadership teams.
This position requires someone able to and seeking to keep up with developments in Automation and best practices within the FMCG processing sector.
What to expect in the job?To ensure supervision and safe operating procedures for visiting contractors.To maintain Health & Safety rules and regulations while identifying potential risks or hazards.To ensure all PPM schedules are completed and developed using predictive and diagnostic maintenance techniques.To initiate improvement plans in a pragmatic and proactive manner.To assist the maintenance department in achieving its budget targets through the efficient use of materials and replacement parts.Maintain and improve standards of hygiene and housekeeping in all areas of the factory including the engineering office and workshop.To undertake emergency breakdown repairs in a timely and efficient way on all retail production equipment and assist across all site engineering issues when required.To assist in the installation of new equipment to the site.Attend and contribute to daily production and engineering meetings.Issue, approve and manage workload to the engineering team using CMMS.Assume responsibility for site activity in the absence of the maintenance manager.RequirementsWhat we need from you?Creating Positive Relationships.Service Driven.Strategic Thinking.Fostering Innovation.Provide technical and behavioural coaching to peers, apprentices, and front-line production colleagues.Be the technical resource for projects and technical specifications.Transfer best practices to further the development and performance of the engineering function.To be aware of and adhere to all Company policies and procedures.To undertake any other associated duties which may occasionally arise.Ability to demonstrate strong customer relationship management skills & work as part of a team.Shift availability - 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off with weekend work required in line with shift pattern.BenefitsWhat can we offer you?Employee benefits platformDiscounted gym membershipDiscounted health insurancePension schemeCompany phoneCompany laptopCareer developmentSubsidised canteenFree parkingCash sales available on company produceFlexibility of holiday planningPermanent contract
